Alec Baldwin punched a photographer from the New York Daily News yesterday (Tuesday) in New York City.
The "30 Rock" star was getting his marriage license for his upcoming wedding when the photographer was taking pictures of him outside the city's Marriage License Bureau.
The paper claims Baldwin then punched the photographer in the face.
After the incident the actor tweeted a note claiming, "A 'photographer' almost hit me in the face with his camera this morning. #allpaparazzishouldbewaterboarded."
But the paper claims the photog was just standing innocently with two other photogs.
LATER: Baldwin referenced Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was fatally shot earlier this year by a neighborhood watchman.
The actor tweeted: "I suppose if the offending paparazzi was wearing a hoodie and I shot him, it would all blow over..."
In a statement, Baldwin's spokesman said the photographer instigated the incident when he became upset after a pedestrian blocked his shot of the couple.
