Cyndi Lauper was the special guest star on WWE Raw.
Lauper was a major music icon in the 80s, and a personality linked with Vince McMahon's then-WWF.
Along with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and Captain Lou Albano, Lauper helped promote "The Rock-N-Wrestling Connection." As part of the boom, Lauper managed female superstar Wendi Richter to a championship victory over the legendary Fabulous Moolah. The singer was joined in the ring by fellow "Rock-n-Wrestling" beacons "Rowdy" Roddy Piper and Wendi Richter.
This week, the original "Rock-n-Wrestling" crew was back together after 27 years.
